A leading accident repair centre in West Yorkshire has been the first in the country to invest in the new Haweka CMC4000 frame measurement system.
D Gawthrope ACR Ltd based in Knottingley purchased the Axis4000 truck wheel alignment equipment with the new chassis measuring rig from Haweka UK to assist with the increase in commercial accident repairs.
The CMC4000 frame measurement equipment for trucks, buses and trailers can be a stand alone product or as an add on to the Axis4000 truck wheel alignment system. The major advantage of the CMC4000 is that the programme allows for measurements in gradual increments, set by the operator not the programme – this is as a result of the way the measuring frame is ftted to the vehicle.
The system does not require the removal of parts that would be in the way when using conventional frame measurement systems. The CMC4000 enables problem-free accurate results on the condition of the vehicle frame and provides simple and clear on-screen 3D visualisations of the vehicle chassis before and after straightening.
Dean Gawthrope, Managing Director at D Gawhtrope ACR Ltd said:
“We have recently moved to larger premises and invested in new commercial vehicle equipment in order to allow us to cope with the rising demand for commercial repairs. After seeing a demonstration of the new CMC4000 rig from Haweka UK we knew it was the ideal piece of equipment to ensure our vehicle repairs are flawless, which is recognised and favored by major insurance and fleet management companies.”
Dean went on to say:
“With our RMIF Approved bodyshop we have gained the trust of household names such as Volvo and Asda and in order to retain this tust we have to ensure our workshop has the leading equipment. The Haweka CMC4000 is wireless, quick and precise allowing us to provide a perfect repair to commercial chassis.”
